Returns & Exchange Policy

Please review our policy before placing your order.

At Shlokam, every saree is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure quality and accuracy. As many of our pieces are limited and curated in small quantities, we follow a structured return policy to maintain fairness for all customers.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns only in the following cases:

  • The item received is damaged during transit
  • You received an incorrect product
  • There is a manufacturing defect

To initiate a return, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and order details.

Requests made after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted.

Condition Requirements

To be eligible for return:

  • The saree must be unused and unwashed
  • The saree must not be draped or worn
  • Original packaging and tags must be intact
  • The product must be returned in the same condition it was delivered

Any item showing signs of wear, draping, alteration, perfume, or washing will not qualify for return.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of handcrafted and limited pieces, the following are not eligible for return:

  • Change of mind
  • Slight color variations due to lighting or screen differences
  • Minor irregularities inherent to handloom or traditional weaving
  • Custom-stitched or altered blouse pieces

We make every effort to display colors as accurately as possible, but variations may occur due to screen settings.

Exchange Policy

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges.

If a return is approved, you may place a new order separately.

Refund Process

Once the returned item passes quality inspection:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Processing may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
